Gareth Foy is an award winning, free-lance composer. His work has appeared on Sky, the BBC,
Chanel 5, CBBC, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Viaplay, NPO, SVT, TV2 and more. His game music has
been featured on systems such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and steam. Additionally
his music has been placed in many adverts, both Europe and worldwide.
Gareth has written music for a vast array of film productions, library music companies,
games and doccumentaries. He has worked with ensembles ranging from a full orchestra
to a small band and has written music in many styles such as Classical, Jazz, Latin,
Soul & Blues.

Composition asks three things of the musician: Vigorous feeling for melody. Then imaginative
harmony, strong enough to subvert and rebuild unhindered. And then–but this is rare and so essential
that we might call it the “reality principle” of Music– shrewd sense to keep the first two locked in
stubborn love with each other. The three in combination are a priceless gift, and to say that
Gareth Foy is gifted is to say precisely that he possesses the proven talents which bring all three together.

tension and sheer brilliance. His composition, weaved seamlessly into the
fabric of the films narrative. He has the ability to adapt and create music
